Pascuala Ilabaca Y Fauna

While Pascuala Ilabaca certainly takes inspiration from Chilean music of the past, she doesn’t shy away from sounds of the present. Her full-bodied voice carries her band known as” Fauna” across many genres, borrowing from the intensity of garage rock and drum n’ bass, the soothing sounds of North Indian tabla, and the swaggering grooves of Latin dance.

Her music has garnered her a sizeable following in South America and Europe, as well as more recently in the states. She’s played everywhere from intimate clubs, to more prestigious concert halls, to the London jazz festival.
