Lineup Announced for Second Annual Lenox Jazz Stroll

Eight Performances at Three Venues
The lineup has been announced for the second annual Lenox Jazz Stroll, from noon until 9pm on Saturday, Sept. 11 along with a special kickoff concert on Friday, Sept. 10. A free event that takes place in the historic Berkshires village, the stroll is presented by the Lenox Chamber of Commerce and Berkshires Jazz, Inc., and is sponsored by Mill Town, Blue Q, and the Berkshire Music Project.
The 2021 Lenox Jazz Stroll features some of the most notable jazz talent in the Berkshires along, with world-class musicians from New York City and beyond. Saturday will be the main festival day, preceded by a special kickoff concert on Friday evening at Gateways Inn.

• 7pm: Greystone Quartet (Gateways).
There will be a brief opening ceremony at 1pm at Lilac Park to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11, with remarks and a musical dedication by local trumpeter Jeff Stevens.
Bandleader, educator, and bassist Andy Wrba is the founder and creative director for the Jazz Stroll. “The overwhelming reception for last year’s stroll demonstrated that people were yearning for live music,” says Andy. “As was the case last year, the outdoors venues again allow us to practice distancing and other pandemic safety protocols.” This year’s venues are also more spacious and in closer proximity than in 2020, he added.
Mill Town is the lead sponsor for the event, and has been supporting jazz and other cultural genres for several years.
